My Approach
My approach is grounded in family systems theory and informed by an understanding of how trauma and stress shape children, parents, and families. I tailor therapy to the unique strengths and needs of each client, with a focus on safety, trust, and collaboration.
I prioritize building a secure therapeutic relationship, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for emotional regulation and play-based approaches for children and adolescents.
When a child is struggling, there’s usually more to the story. I look at the whole picture—not just the child—to understand what’s happening and what may be getting in the way. I work closely with children and the adults who know them best to understand their needs and find ways to help them thrive.
If you’re worried about your child and feel like you’ve tried everything, reach out for a free initial conversation. Whether you’re looking for support for your child, your family, or yourself as a parent, we can figure out together what would help most.
